Our bespoke designed curtains include more elaborate styles and finishes for our many clients. Decorative curtain designs include swags and tails, goblet headings and Italian strining. We can add braids, jewels, gems, fringes, tassels and a wide range of embellishments and accessories to suit any curtain or window design. Our interior designers have created custom-made curtains for stately homes across Cheshire and Staffordshire and delivered made-to-measure curtains for many private clients and businesses.
The client wanted a bold, dramatic statement in the cinema room of this 18th-century house in the heart of the Shropshire countryside. We used black velvet interlined curtains with a pinch pleat heading and puddled hem. The curtains are finished with gold velvet piping and a straight pelmet. Neat tails with precise folds and a velvet lining piped in gold gave them the dramatic, cinematic statement they sought.
Clients at this stately home in Shropshire wanted a traditional finish to the dining room. Our designers created full-length interlined curtains for seven large windows, each in a wine claret red. The curtains have loosely slung swags with gold lining, a three-inch fringe trim, decorative tails with gold silk lining, and curved pelmets with gold and claret braid trim. Roman blinds are made with a baroque embroidered fabric, and concealed behind is a voile roller to protect furniture from the sun.

This early Georgian historic gem is set in acres of parkland and landscaped gardens. The dining room at this magnificent property needed window dressings that reflected its elegance and style. The full-length windows were dressed with gold velvet curtains, interlined and puddled on the floor. They were finished with a double-sided swag. A neutral-striped velvet Roman blind complements the curtains to the inside of the window.
Weston Park stately manor in Weston-Under-Lizard in Shropshire required new window dressing to the dining room with six large windows. The goblet-headed curtains are drawn with Italian stringing. The leading edges are double-edged in taffeta, hand-stitched and finished with a damask Roman blind. It's not the simplest window dressings to hang, but the results are stunning.
